Star Wars Epic Duels Darth Vader and Starkiller Custom Deck

This is another of my early custom decks for Star Wars Epic Duels and it is not a refined but I wanted a Darth Vader that had a little more power then the original and I though it would be cool to make his minor character a Sith apprentice from the game Star Wars the Force Unleashed. So I did some research on Starkiller and came up with the deck. I have actually never played the game so if it doesn't really follow the story or how the character is, you can blame Wikipedia.

The miniatures are Darth Vader from Star Wars Epic Duels and customized Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars Epic Duels.

Star Wars Epic Duels General Grievous and Mangaguards Custom Deck

General Grievous was one of the bad guys that I couldn't believe didn't make it into Star Wars Epic Duels. As such he too was one of my first customs and has been part of my collection from very early on. He is a lot like Count Dooku but is all melee with the magnaguards.

For miniatures I used the cheapest General Grievous and Mangaguards from the Star Wars Miniature line that I could find.

Star Wars Epic Duels Commander Cody and Clone Troopers Custom Deck

So, I guess that I am going to share all of my Star Wars Epic Duels custom decks or at least that is the plan. This was my third custom deck to design and it took the longest to get it right. This deck is meant to be from Episode III when the Emperor gives order 66 and the clones all turn on the Jedi.

Commander Cody has an "ace" card in his deck similar to Darth Vader, his is Order 66 card which can kill any character if unblocked and allows Commander Cody to take control of all other Clone Troopers currently in the game (which is why he has extra damage charts for all of the Clone Troopers in the game #1-8). He also utilizes the clones he controls to do more damage using his Surround card. Targeting his clones is key to weakening his ability to do damage.

The miniatures are Commander Cody from the Star Wars Miniatures line and 2 extra sets of clone troopers from Star Wars Epic Duels...yes he needs a total of 4 clone troopers, he starts the game with Clone Troopers 9 and 10. He can gain Clone Troopers 11 and 12 by playing the Reinforcement card.

Star Wars Epic Duels Chirrut Îmwe and Baze Malbus Custom Deck

It's May the 4th and this is too good of a time not to post another one of my Star Wars Epicl Duels customs decks. So I give you 2 of my new favorite characters from Rogue One: Chirrut Îmwe and Baze Malbus. "I am one with the Force and the Force is with me."

For miniatures I customized an Epic Duels Darth Maul for Chirrut Îmwe and then an amalgam of Clone Trooper, 181st Imperial Pilot and Sith Lord from the Star Wars Miniatures line for Baze Malbus.

May the Force be with you.

Star Wars Epic Duels Din Djarin and IG-88 Custom Deck

Time for everyone's new favorite bounty hunter Din Djarin aka The Mandalorian to join the ranks in Epic Duels. This custom deck is based on the first season of the show and I decided to go with IG-88 as his minor character over the many other options because I like having something/one that is willing to self detonate if needed in battle.

Still working on miniatures to use but most likely will be a customized Boba Fett, but maybe 3D printed depending on what will be the cheapest/most durable.

Star Wars Epic Duels Captain Phasma and Flametroopers Custom Deck

Next up for custom Epic Duels decks is another female baddie: Captain Phasma. Who doesn't like a chrome plated stormtrooper (first order trooper I know)?

For miniatures I use a Captain Phasma and 2 First Order Flametroopers from the Disney Park Packs Collectible Star Wars miniature line.

Star Wars Epic Duels Asajj Ventress and Super Battle Droids Custom Deck

Time to revisit one of my all time favorite games, Epic Duels, and share a few more of my custom decks. Since my wife is who I play the most games with she is always wanting more female characters and Epic Duels is lacking in that department. Fortunately, more and more things such as Star Wars are adding meaningful female characters. And what better to start with then a female sith: Asajj Ventress.

This deck is similar in style to Darth Maul but has the added benefit of Super Battle Droids over the regular Battle Droids.

For miniatures I use a Asajj Ventress and 2 Super Battle Droids from the Star Wars miniature line.
