Star Wars Epic Duels Jyn Erso and Cassian Andor Custom Deck

While posting all of my Star Wars Epic Duels customs decks last year, I got the itch to make a new one.  So even though I thought I was done, here is a new one.

Rogue One is by far the best Star Wars movie since the original trilogy. The story is great and the characters are too. I had a hard time deciding on who I wanted to to pair with Jyn Erso, but really there was no other option other then Cassian Andor. I would have loved to used K-2SO but 3 character decks don't really work, they are too weak as it is hard to get the cards you need and if you make the cards combo-cards it doesn't feel like they belong with the real decks.

For miniatures I used painted Old Republic Recruit for Jyn Erso and a modified Antarian Ranger for Cassian Andor Wars Miniatures line.

Power Rangers Heroes of the Grid - White Ninja Falconzord & White Tigerzord Warrior Mode

Well today Renegade Games teased that they would be releasing official Thunderzords, so my customs will be obsolete by years end. So, in an effort to get more of my customs finished here are a few more zord additions for the Mighty Morphin White.

Power Rangers Heroes of the Grid - Thunderzords

While during this time most people have found themselves with more time, I have found less. I have completed paint quite a few more of the miniatures for this game but I still need to take some pictures to share. I have completed the Base box and the Zeo expansions, and started working on the Kickstarter Exclusive box.

But I have also been working on my own customs for the game as well. MMPR is my generation of Rangers so it is all that I am really only concerned with, and I will look to round out what is missing. So I present the Thunderzords!

The art for the 5 Thunderzords is from Power Rangerars Legacy Wars (by James Pascual) and Red Dragon Warrior Mode, Thunder Megazord, and Mega Tigerzord art is from the Boom! Studio comics.

I haven't had a change to do a lot of testing on these so let me know what you think and hopefully they aren't over powered.

Unicorn Birthday Cake

It's time for a another birthday cake! This time the birthday girl wanted a Unicorn cake and my wife found a few examples online for me to use as a reference when making.

Because of COVID-19 and the addition of daughter #2, we aren't having the big party we normally have; so this year's cake is much smaller. It is single tier 6" with three layers.

Star Wars Epic Duels Qui-Gon Jinn and Jar Jar Binks Custom Deck

And the first shall be last. My custom deck for Qui-Gon Jinn, the last custom deck I have to share at this point in time. I borrowed a lot of  ideas I borrowed from decks found on: http://epicduels.pbworks.com. This was my first custom i started but I could never deciede who to pair him with and I some times wish I had paired him with a young Obi-Wan Kenobi but went with adding Jar Jar Binks to the game against my better judgement, but I think it is a fun addition still.

The miniatures that I used are Qui-Gon Jinn and Gungan Infantry from the Star Wars Miniature line. The Jar Jar Binks mini is just too hard to come by and to expensive.

Star Wars Epic Duels Lando Calrissian and Bespin Guards Custom Deck

We are getting close to the end of the line of my custom decks for Star Wars Epic Duels and this was a must add and one of my favorite characters, Lando! I borrowed ideas I borrowed from decks found on:
http://epicduels.pbworks.com.  I decide that pairing Lando with his Bespin Guards made the most sense. Fun deck that shows of his gambling ways.

The miniatures that I used are Lando Calrissian and 2 Bespin Guards from the Star Wars Miniature line.

Star Wars Epic Duels R2-D2 and C-3PO Custom Deck

This is another custom deck that I really like over on on: http://epicduels.pbworks.com. But it needed a art upgrade. It is a fun support style deck and fun to have R2-D2 and C-3PO running around on the board too. It adds a cool mechanic of oil spill markers from R2. I added I few to the bottom of the deck plate so you can mark them on the board. Bonus points if you recognize what game the oil markers are from.

The miniatures that I used are R2-D2 and C-3PO from the Disney Park Packs Collectible Star Wars miniature line.
